More Hiking with the Buddies?(Sept 3)

Today we took the buddies on one of our first long hikes we ever did. However, this time the extended series had been added to the one already there. The buddies had a lot of fun on this hike. There was a lot of uphills though. This time the buddies got 11 stamps. The view from the tower was amazing until the wind blew. One big gust and all the buddies flew off the railing, but don't worry everyone was OK. Where will there next adventure take them?

Buddies on the Trail(Sept 1)

On Sept 1st, we took the buddies hiking in one of our favorite parks.We checked out the map board, the memorial rock and got a whopping bunch of boxes. We even ALMOST lost our tiniest BB, Penny. The buddies had a great time. We missed a couple of stamps so hopefully we'll get back there to get them before the buddies head out.

August 31, 2007 Teasel and Smoke arrive

Teasel and Smoke arrived on Friday Aug 31. On the first day they did a lot of things. There was hide and seek, Peanut Girl Curiosity, checking AQ for new posts, Exchanges, postals, and even supervised the dishes and vacuuming. Who knew that 2 buddies would have that much energy.

Buddies in Training

This past Saturday we took the crew of Boxing Buddies in training hiking. We had to stop in Acton on the way to the Marshfield fair. What better than to letterbox seeing we were stopping to eat and off the highway anyway. We found three boxes and took some really good pictures. Hopefully we'll have another buddy or two ready to go by Friday. Cross your fingers. I also have to warn you that these new buddies had never been outside before and were pretty off the wall when we took them out. Gidget in NC

Gidget has been having a fabulous time with Mama Flory. She went to Lizard Lick, NC. Today she is at the Man It's Hot Gathering. What a lucky dog!! I hope I get to hear some of her great adventures from her first gathering.

Buddy Friends

I was just looking in my email and lo and behold, there were pictures of Bugsy in there. He was palling around with Cruisin' Cody before he had to head off to here. Yup, you read right. So hopefully my buddies will start to arrive soon. I told Shoebee I wasn't doing any box maintenance until the buddies came. Last week Shoebee got into the BB thing too. He took pics with the digi camera but I'm trying to get them off the camera itself. A little snafoo(?) but nothing grave. So when I get some more buddy updates, I'll let you know.

Diva and Bugsy are leaving today

Bugsy and Diva Bear are headed out into the world today. The toys in the giant toybox said they would miss them so much that they wanted to have a goodbye party. So I made everyone a hat and whipped up a cake so their last day together would be special. It seems like Bugsy and Diva had a good time. So good in fact, they all hopped in the toybox for a nap. So after they wake up Bugsy and Diva will head for the mailbox. Bye guys, we'll miss you!!
